Renata Grozovsky receives Mary Rodes Gibson Memorial Award in Hemostasis and Thrombosis at ASH!


The work entitled: “The Ashwell-Morell receptor regulates hepatic thrombopoietin production via JAK2-STAT3 signaling” by Grozovsky et al. has been presented as a plenary lecture by Dr. Renata Grozovsky at the 2014 American Society of Hematology meeting and has been published in Nature Medicine. Dr. Grozovsky also received the Mary Rodes Gibson Memorial Award in Hemostasis and Thrombosis. This annual award is granted to a trainee who is the first author and presenter of the highest-scoring abstract submitted in the field of hemostasis and thrombosis. She received a $5000 grant and a $1000 allowance for travel expenses to the ASH annual meeting.
